October 23, 2026 update: Konami confirms dual participation
Konami’s official English website confirms that Worlds 2027 permits participation in the TCG division plus one digital division: Duel Links or Master Duel. Participation in both digital divisions is prohibited.
Singapore will host four categories: TCG, Duel Links SPEED DUEL, Duel Links RUSH DUEL and Master Duel. Konami says qualifier information will follow in-game, on its website and through official social accounts. This participation rule does not itself award qualification.
TCG and one digital division
YGOrganization reported on October 23, 2026 that a Konami notice in Duel Links allows participation in the TCG championship and one digital division at Worlds 2027. Road of the King separately describes this as applying when a player qualifies for both.
TCG plus Master Duel is a permitted example in the report. Two digital divisions cannot be combined: a competitor must choose between Master Duel, Duel Links SPEED DUEL and Duel Links RUSH DUEL.
Source and eligibility
At the original publication earlier on October 23, 2026, this article relied on community reporting of the in-game notice. Konami’s public English website has since been independently verified; the dated update above records that confirmation. Qualification details remain subject to official announcements.
