The activation condition says card, not monster
Konami says English, Spanish and Portuguese copies of Theorealize Past Lull from Chaos Origins were printed with “monster” where the activation condition should say “card.” The corrected condition can therefore be met by an “Artmage,” “DoomZ” or “Elfnote” card.
The official English card database now displays the corrected wording and instructs players to use the database text even if their physical card differs.
One affected copy can be exchanged for two corrected copies
Konami's replacement program exchanges one affected card for two corrected cards of the same rarity. KDE-US can replace English, Spanish and Portuguese copies.
In-person exchanges are available at Tier 3 events beginning in September 2026, with the North America WCQ 2027 listed as the final opportunity. Duelists must bring the original card. Those unable to attend can request an exchange through Konami Customer Service using the subject line specified in the official notice.
The affected set released July 3
Chaos Origins released for the TCG on July 3, 2026. This notice corrects the wording of Theorealize Past Lull; it does not announce a new printing date or a change to the card's name, rarity or set membership.
