Four groups, 316 changes
Konami published a first-anniversary GENESYS point update on October 5, 2026. The announcement contains 93 point increases, 125 decreases, 28 cards receiving points for the first time and 70 cards returning to zero points.
This is a TCG GENESYS update, not a change to the TCG Advanced Forbidden & Limited List. GENESYS uses a 100-point standard cap, permits up to three copies of a card and does not use the standard Forbidden & Limited List; Link and Pendulum Monsters remain excluded under the format rules.
Selected point increases
The new list moves K9-X "Werewolf" from 10 to 100 points, Naturia Beast from 50 to 100, Phantom of Yubel from 88 to 100, Magical Explosion from 75 to 100 and Smoke Grenade of the Thief from 87 to 100.
Twenty-eight cards receive points for the first time. Destiny HERO - Dark Angel, Ghostrick Angel of Mischief, Number C9: Chaos Dyson Sphere and XX-Saber Gottoms each move from zero to 100; Gem-Knight Master Diamond Dispersion begins at 80.
Selected decreases and zero-point releases
Among the decreases, Confiscation moves from 100 to 40 points, Triple Tactics Talent from 93 to 40, Baronne de Fleur from 80 to 50, Fusion Destiny from 33 to 3 and Pot of Greed from 30 to 20.
Seventy cards lose their point costs entirely. Those include Elder Entity Norden from 91 to zero, Card of Demise from 40 to zero, Master Peace, the True Dracoslaying King from 33 to zero, Zoodiac Drident from 20 to zero and all four Dragon Rulers previously listed at five points.
